"Dreams of Dynamite and Divinity"

Firstly, the whole alliteration thing has to be ironic. No one does that trying to be clever unless you're really stupid. Although I think they're from Scotland, so you never know... Anyhoo, rather excitingly, this is ANOTHER GOOD RECORD. I know! I checked my temperature the other day cos it feels like I'm getting a fever being so nice to so many records. Deckard probably have another album or two of being called Muse copyists ahead of them, and that of course id pretty unfair but gives you a benchmark, ie they're quite interesting. The vocals are sneering in a kinda Kinesis style, which is nice. There are lots of good tunes on here; my favorite is called "When Picking Fights", which hops along in a very pleasing manner, sort of staccato but also rather flowing. Nice use of change of rhythm. Or whatever it is. Anyway, if you fancy being able to be the cool guy for once, and being the one who tells everyone else about the cool new band, hop along to www.deckard.info and dig it. And if you got your mates into Jarcrew as well, then you'll probably be getting lots of head around now.

PS: I reserve the right to pretend I always thought they were shit if they get big, just so I can preserve the whole cool thing I got going on.
